A BIT ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

As we all get used to working remotely and online, our plans for the 2020 CENTA Student Conference on Science Communication and Public Engagement had to change too. We were looking forward to welcoming you all to the University of Leicester and New Walk Art Gallery and Museum, but our new online format was just as exciting!

We spied on a host of online conferences, learning what works best so that we can give the greatest experience. We have done away with ‘talks’ and ‘posters’ – allowing students to use the online format to fully embrace the sci-comm theme and present in the most engaging ways they can think of.
